The 11th hole is a beautiful Par 3 with an amazing view of the ocean and a tough 165 yard shot to the green. The hole gives you the false impression that you have to carry 150 yards of the Pacific ocean to be safe due to the near by cliffs which fall straight into the Ocean.
The only downer is that the greens were extremely slow the day that I played. I expected better greens from a $200 green fee. Don't have high expectations about the fairway conditions either. The red volcanic soil in the hills of the North part of the island is brutal on the courses especially after a heavy rain. Your ball will have red mud on it after every shot due to the softness of the fairways.
But the pros definitely outweigh the cons.
The Prince course is an extremely fun design with a target golf philosophy. A bad shot will be punished, but its not an overly tough course.
The following 12th hole will take your breath away standing on the back tee box. Its a 390 yard par four on which the tee box is so high up that the fairway (actually a decent landing size) looks minuscule. I hit an easy straight drive 340 yards due to the ten story drop to the green.
