I highly recommend adding a drone videographer to capture the spectacular aerial Hawaiian views. And there's no better pair to work with than Jon and Jonathan (Jon Gibb was our videographer, Jonathan Moeller was our photographer). Jonathan is a superbly talented photographer - we are incredibly happy and impressed with our photos. As a videographer, Jon was able to capture spectacular aerial video of our wedding party and the amazing beach we were at. Jon's drone shots allowed us to see what we couldn't - breathtaking and dynamic video of us and our guests against Na Aina Kai's beach as a backdrop, from a bird's eye view. We are so thankful and appreciative to Jon and Jonathan for so beautifully capturing our special day.
My wife and I had our wedding in Kauai, and since it is such a beautiful island, we wanted to have drone videos of our special day. For a few days we even contemplated purchasing our own Phantom quadcopter, carrying it to Kauai, convincing one of our friends to pilot it. Fortunately we came to our senses and hired Jon as our wedding videographer. Jon is a really gifted videographer, both with the drone and more conventional videocamera systems. He beautifully captured some of the key moments of our wedding day at the Na ‘Aina Kai Botanical Gardens, including stunning overhead videos of us with our family and friends at the beach and more intimate videos of our ceremony. Jon’s easy-going nature also made him a pleasure to work with. He worked in tandem with our wedding photographer (Jonathan Moeller, also based in Kauai), and they made a fantastic team. My wife and I love the final edited video that Jon created, and he agreed to provide us with all the raw footage as well. A much better outcome than buying (and probably crashing) our own drone! We highly recommend Jon for his videography services.
